The Big Finish

Mermaids have been black! Nanny is a suspenseful drama that is stylistic and impactful. Nikyatu Jusu did an excellent job with shot selection creativity. The storytelling is a slow burn that did a good job of building character development. Anna Diop did great in her role. An aspect that I really enjoyed about this movie is how unpredictable it is. I also liked how well the African accents played a role in a modern New York beat. I also liked the use of water to depict the waves of emotion of the main character. Intuition can not be ignored as it is always a constant flow of energy.
