The Big Finish

I thought my family had problems. Its great to see a positive film about black people in fellowship and prospering on screen. All of the cast work well together and keep interest while telling their stories. The windy city is an excellent background to provide an artistic aesthetic. Also the music doesn’t crack with soulful sounds from Baby Face, Kci and JoJo and Boyz 2 Men respectively. Even if just a movie, I cant help but be the party pooper and state how much this film glorifies eating unhealthy and leading to health problems for black people. The truth is hard to swallow. Regardless food is good for the soul and has been used as an expression of love for our culture for generations, we can afford a cheat meal every once in a while.
