The Big Finish
So much nun slander! I think this film did an excellent job of walking the line between comedy and drama especially with this being such a depressing subject matter. Kevin Hart was funny here but I must say it was difficult to see him in a serious role. Especially in scenes that he had to share with Alfre Woodard who blew him off screen in tense moments. I was definitely most impressed with Melody Hurd as she is so charismatic and shined throughout. There were also good themes of gender equality amongst children that are explored. The daddy daughter focus is also touching. Fatherhood provides a good lens on the trials of single parenting as well as moving on and persevering after loss.

Dear Caleb, wow this is such a simple yet informative review. I saw the advertisement of this movie before Fathers Day and I wanted to watch it. Now you gave me a good go-ahead. I would really like to see the gender equality in the movie.
