The Big Finish

Fight Forever! Normally these unnecessary forced projects don’t live up to the hype but this heavyweight clash of the two iconic monsters is a surprise hit. The special effects and all of the fight sequences really landed. There was just enough humor to keep viewers engaged. In these types of scenarios one has to throw logic to the wind and even if just for a money grab acknowledge sense does not matter as the movie is strictly for entertainment purposes. I can’t speak enough about how the acting really elevated this picture. Sometimes having talent elevates a movie to another level. The performances by Rebecca Hall and Millie Bobbie Brown provide a level of legitimacy and interest to this film that would not be anywhere else classified. Even though there were many aspects of this film that seemed forced it all gelled together.  Such as the relationship between Kong and the young girl could seem like pandering but really came off as genuine. A fight for the ages was being built and for those that go out of their way to witness can at least say they got their monies worth!
