The Big Finish

It really pays to have friends in high places. This picture has all of the elements of a classic murder mystery with dark lighting and eerie music reminiscent to the genres hey day. It seems as though one could do no wrong with the star studded cast of Washngton, Malek and Leto who are great actors respectively. It is just they don’t play off each other well here. This was like watching an all star basketball game where everyone has great individual statistics but the players do not gel cohesively as a team. Stylistically this film is shot competently as the editing added a lot to the story. The theme of angels and demons was cleverly implemented throughout. With so much going in this films favor the big problem is that it is very boring with a very predictable outcome. Moving at the pace of a snell by the time it gets to its destination there is way too much screen fatigue to even care. As there will always be things to lose sleep over, just find a way to fill in the plot holes yourself so that way you don’t go insane.
