The Big Finish

There is no such thing as too much of a good thing. Honestly with the abundance of Spider-Man films that have been released over the course of the past several years I was initially skeptical about Into The Spider-verse as it seemed like way too much of an overkill. Well my expectations have been shattered as this latest take on the popular web slinger actually blew me away. The animation was a big help to make this version establish an identity. All of the graphics and cinematography were sick. The score was updated with popular tunes that are current and having The Black Sheep along with The Notorious B.I.G tracks definitely brought out the vibe of New York. This picture is incredibly unpredictable and did a phenomenal job of interweaving throughout storylines as well as alternative universes. Even with the animation this film offers enough for both younger and older audiences. I was shocked at how intense some of the scenes actually grabbed me. With all of the different plot points this movie introduced the possibilities are marvelously endless. Into The Spider-Verse is a cool fresh take on everyone’s favorite neighborhood Spider-Man. More please!
