“I know what your thinking I am so glad I left the kiddos at home? The baby sitter you hired is high as fuck right now.”

“I was fighting a caped bad ass and I discovered his mothers name is Martha too.”

“Can you speak up it’s a little hard to hear you with that pity dick in your mouth.”

“Listen to the pain it is both a history teacher and a fortune-teller. Pain teaches us who we are sometimes it’s so bad it feels like we’re dying. But we can’t really live until we die can we?”

“You all look amazing. Vanisher I can’t see you but I’m sure you look good too”

“Luck is not a superpower and is not cinematic.”

“Give me your best shot one-eyed Willie.”

“Juggernaut, I thought that was you. I should have worn my white pants.”

“He has teamed up with the juggernaut. The juggernaut that was my favorite marvel character ever but you should never meet your heroes because he is a bit of a dick and just like all dicks he is as hard as a rock and causes nothing but problems.”

“I’m going to stick around for a while and make sure the world doesn’t shit itself into oblivion.”

“We’re X-men”
“No we’re X-force”
“Your EX-hausting”

“What do you get when you take eight feet of chrome, one pinch of courage, a cup of good luck, a dap of racism, a splash of diabetes and a wheelbarrow full of stage four cancer? The answer… a family.”

Scene Stealer – Brad Pitt revealed as the Vanisher

Money Shot

Wilson jumps in front of the bullet intended for Collins altering the future to where now Cable’s family survives. Cable recognizes this sacrifice and uses the little fuel he has left to go back in time to insert Vanessa’s token over Wilson’s heart, protecting him from the blast. The ever appropriate Cher’s “If I could turn back time” is a nice touch placed on this moment.

The Big Finish

The force of family impacts through this continuously engaging sequel. Ryan Reynolds is brilliant in his second go round as the R-rated hero as I am convinced that there is no one more fittingly charismatic for this part. Initially I did not want Josh Brolin portraying Cable but those doubts were quickly evaporated in Thanos fashion (see what I did there) as I am in idiot and there is no role he is not capable of being masterful in. With the abundance of racial stereotyping, gender equality and sex scandals unfortunately being exhibited in today’s society I can’t speak enough on how this picture cleverly sheds light humor on these relevant topics without it seeming overexposed. Speaking of overexposed, the baby leg Basic Instinct homage is timeless! Deadpool proudly boasts a distinct style of fourth wall breaking and dark comical disposition. So much in fact that people, myself included were laughing to the point where the next joke was missed. Wilson’s swords cutting up bad guys are not the only sharp jabs being thrown here as there are several digs at the DC universe and their struggling movie franchise. As much as I know these films are not in the same cinematic universe technically but down the line is too much to hope for a Deadpool appearance in an Avengers project in the future? With a multitude of pop culture references, comic book easter eggs and battle sequences eyes are not capable of resting. Deadpool 2 is a clever continuation not afraid of poking fun at anything including itself.
