Flick in a Limerick

The Avengers find themselves in a situation
When Thanos wants to wipe out half of the population
To put a wrench in his plans

And not lose 50 percent of humanity to disintegration

The gravity of this scene is so compelling it pulls on your heart-strings. This film opens with Tony Stark proclaiming to Pepper that he thinks it is time that they have a child. Over time Peter Parker and Tony Stark developed somewhat of father son relationship. The pain and fear in Peter’s voice is felt as he disintegrates in Tony’s arms.

The Big Finish

Don’t just believe the hype trust me you can take it as gospel. The cultivation of 10+ years of Marvel storytelling is not only a satisfying payoff but an embarrassment of riches. Just when you think there is no way the MCU could possibly top themselves every movie continues to raise the bar out leaping the film that preceded it. Of course there is an array of dazzling visuals and arousing fight sequences. The comedy manages to hit with incredible precision. I enjoyed how we learned so much about Thanos providing his back story and his rationale for wanting to refresh humanity. With this greatest collection of heroes ever assembled on one screen, the super team is effectively able to maximize their minutes and are all given equal amounts of time to sparkle. We got to witness fun fantasy match ups like Tony Stark and his long-lost twin brother Dr. Strange. Rocket Raccoon and Thor have excellent chemistry and it is cool seeing Okoye and Black Widow teaming up for a moment. The climatic battle in Wakanda here is one of the most epic war scenes in movie history. The conclusion is heart wrenching as you wanted to cling on to all of your favorite super heroes being picked off leaving the fate of the Marvel cinematic universe in question. It is almost as if a part of me has disintegrated in the process.
